The Herring series is designed, specifically, to work with compact fluorescent bulbs, saving energy without compromising the aesthetic. Rich colors and the cross stitch pattern help to screen out the blue/ green bias typical of fluorescent fixtures. They are lightweight and direct wired. Regular 25 watt incandescent lamps may also be used.
